For it’s second year running, the final day of the Underbelly Arts Festival at the Carriageworks in Redfern presented an explosive display of creativity. Catering to all types; art lovers, critics or just anyone out for a new experience, the festival was packed to the rafters with differing forms of art. </font></p>
<p><font size="2">The atmosphere was brimming with energy as patrons strolled through the foyer inspecting the walls and ceiling for paintings, installations, a large ant sculpture atop a vintage car, stainless steel windmills, bunny suited acrobats and interactive new-media artworks. </font></p>
<p><font size="2">From the foyer five bays held live performances, which you were informed about via the loud speaker. If you missed a show the program was repeated and the bar began to pick up just after five. The Bus stop café provided hot drinks and food. </font></p>
<p><font size="2">A personal favourite for the day was the dreadlock corset, also the two acrobat bunnies masterfully performed to the “run rabbit, run” soundtrack. For my first visit to the Festival, I will resolutely be back next year, great for a Sunday afternoon of art and entertainment.<br />
