Mani from the Stone Roses has said that a reunion for the band was on the way but Ian Brown was against it, a fact that halted the plan.

In an interview with the BBC, Mani said: "I spoke to John and Reni about it a few years ago and they said they'd love to do it at some point in time, but Ian Brown seems dead set against it.

"If he changes his mind then we'll probably do it, but then I'll be back to Primal after the one year of doing it."
