Legendary soul singer-songwriter Roberta Flack will tour Australia early next year, it has been revealed on her official website.

The North Carolina born icon is most famous for her hit 'Killing Me Softly', which was covered by hip-hop group the Fugees in the late nineties. Her music has appeared in films by Clint Eastwood and her 1972 album "First Time Ever" won Record of the Year at the 1973 Grammy Awards.
Her career hasn't stopped over the forty years since her rise to prominence in the mid 60s. She is currently on an extensive tour of the US, followed by appearances in South Africa and the UK. She touches down in Australia late in January and wraps up her national tenure on February 21 in Perth.
