2008 bearded indie sensations Fleet Foxes will play sideshows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne as part of their appearance at Falls Festival this New Years Eve.

The five-piece shot to prominence earlier this year with the release of their debut self-titled LP, which draws from 'traditions of folk music, pop, choral music and gospel, baroque psychedelic, sacred harp singing, West Coast music, traditional music from Ireland to Japan" and "film scores".

The Falls festival in both Lorne and Marion Bay are sold out, so this is a chance for Fleet Foxes fans who missed out on the festivals to see the group.
