Rumours have been circulating in the Liveguide forums as to what acts will appear at the 2009 Soundwave festival, but the speculation can now end: the line-up has been officially announced and Nine Inch Nails, the Bloodhound Gang and Alice In Chains are among the massive line-up.

Saw Poison the Well at the Roundhouse a few years ago with Thursday. Fucken awesome

i feel that even though the acts are good and im going to go, soundwave are not catering to teh market, last year had bands that suited what people were into at the time but some of these bands havent recorded or done any touring around australia to be that popular, still a goodline though so im happy but if there is a 2010 they need to think a bit more about who and WHY

yeah, the top three bands are good but i've never heard Alice in Chains and wtf Bloodhound Gang? Should've canned them both and spent more money on My Chemical Romance

From First To Last! woo finally coming to Aus, it better stay that way.. Last years line up was much better. It needs some more Metal in the line up, last year had more.

The organisers try to make it different every year, and i tell ya, arranging this to everyones liking would be real hard.
