Thanks to the Melbourne International Arts Festival, Liveguide has 5 double passes to see Toshi Reagon perform in Melbourne.

Melbourne Festival offers a second chance to catch one of the standout acts of 2007. Experience the rawness, the rock, the heart, the soul, the sheer energy and humour of Toshi Reagon and BIGLovely: pure aural electricity

Toshi Reagon and BIGLovely's concerts at The Famous Spiegeltent last year were hugely embraced events. reagon's style is a rousing blend of retro funk, urban blues, rock and folk. A throwback to classic R&B artists with some old school rock thrown in, Reagon can take any style, update it and make it her own. She is an artist known for energetic performances and an exemplary gift for writing songs that provoke listeners to think and have fun at the same time. Dirty chords and pulsating rhythms provide perfect accompaniment to the strong, dusky silk of Reagon's voice.

For your chance to win, just post in this thread your favourite female singer. Entries close Monday 13th of October.

I was sure this said singer/songwriter last time i looked?! Which of course would have to be Marianne Faithfull...
But if we're going purely on vocal talent (favourite female singer) - i'm going to have to back the sultry tones of Dusty Springfield.
