Hey,

am new here but not sure if you've all heard of In Situ in Manly? I've been there a few times latey (and overheard the acts when doing my yoga class!) and they have some wicked live music on! I guess The Boatshed kind of has the monopoly on the llive music scene in Manly but these guys are seriously shaking things up! It's kind of small/local acts but it's a great atmosphere and quickly becoming my favourite hang outs in Manly - I reckon you guys should check it out! I am going to suggest to them that they do a kind of 'Find a Star' competition to try and create a bit ooomph around the live music scene in Manly (I work in Marketing for my sins).

Check it out and see what you think - there's not much in Manly I would describe as cool but this place is definitely up there! www.insitumanly.com.au. They're going to get music files on there soon so you can have a listen - help me get behind these guys Live Guide!

Also can anyone please tell me where I can see some really good blues and jazz live? I've not been in Sydney long and need some advice - I'd like a nice cosy place really and maybe somewhere that does food? Thanks x

Hi there

thanks for the post :)

Please feel free to pass on the below submission info to the venue, to make sure their events are listed on Liveguide.

in regards to other venues, Low 502 in Surry Hills is highly recommended for Jazz, you can check it out via: venue505.com

thanks

There are two ways to submit events for listing on Liveguide:

• manually - by clicking Submit Event via the homepage and following the prompts – there is also an option of submitting multiple events via spreadsheet. This is also the best option as the turn-around time of posting is much quicker and ensures greater accuracy
OR
• via email - by emailing full event details to: events@liveguide.com.au - this is also the contact email address for any event updates/detail changes
