DJ K Note and Nick Toth aka Surgeon General concoct a mix CD featuring all the classic tracks from the Dancehall and gives you a glimpse of Reggae culture featuring the likes of Sean Paul, Beenie and Elephant Man as well as commercial hits such as Shakira feat Wyclef - Hips Don't Lie

K Note is the man behind the Dutty Bass brand of mix CDs and Nick Toth has been a major name in Hip Hop, Reggae, Soul and Funk as a DJ since residing in Australia around 10 years ago. Nick was also part of the Blazin' Mix CD series and put out a mix CD for Good Vibrations promoter Jam entitled 'Gimme Some More'.

A Jamaican institution since the early 80's, Dancehall Queen contests today take place all over the globe from Chicago to London, Berlin to Tokyo. Caribbean music, one of the fastest growing musical genres worldwide, provides the back-drop for these high energy and entertaining competitions in which the most creative and original dancer will take the crown of Dancehall Queen at the end of the night

It's the I've-Just-Drank-Half-A-Carton-Of-Beer dance that I am known to do out on the town and/or at parties..it consists of the Mr Bean dance and various other body spasms in time (or so I think) to the music!

Macarena! I actually loved that song when it first came out then it was ruined by being overplayed and overexposed!

the drunken not-so-soft shoe shuffle (with a spilling beer in one hand & a glazed look as well) - can always rely on it coming out very late in proceedings!

i am a shy girl and not very good at dancing, BUT.. the best dancing prop is an "athletic mix breed guy" who can move and make you want to move- on the dance floor! lol.. so my best dance moves would be up close- semi bump n grind/ salsa!!! :-)

I know I have NO dance skills, so just to watch any form of dance simply amazes me. Seen a fair bit of "so you think you can dance" and my favourite style of dance is Hip Hop.

The lounge finger tap.  Never heard of it?  Well I am a master.  It goes like this...grab a seat turn on some music and tap to the beat.  That's my entire dance move collection right there.
