THE MARCH PROGRAM IS UP! Its going to be amazing!!!!!!! Monday 3rd March Basket Case (1982) The film opens with our hero Duane Bradley carrying his detached, telepathic and super-strong parasitic twin around in a basket. Belial, a misshapen mutant that is little more than a head, two mammoth arms and hands, and a scrunched-up, partial spine who was attached to Duane's side. Their mission to take revenge on the doctors who separated them. Annandale Hotel 7.30pm Donation Tuesday 4th March Para(noid) Politics in the Archives Billy Meyer At last an insightful documentary on one of the most controversial contactee cases in the world. Billy burst onto the UFO scene in the late 80’s with some of the most astounding photographic evidence to be seen. His shots were clear, focused and picturesque. Now after three decades of research and a bevy of books, finally a documentary has arrived that will reveal all. Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Wednesday 5th March Marginalized Movies Born in Flames (1983) Director, and lesbian feminist, Lizzie Borden, Set ten years after the most peaceful revolution in United States history, a revolution in which a socialist government gains power, this films presents a dystopia in which the issues of many progressive groups - minorities, liberals, gay rights organizations, feminists - are ostensibly dealt with by the government, and yet there are still problems with jobs, with gender issues, with governmental preference and violence. In New York City, in this future time, a group of women decide to organize and mobilize, to take the revolution farther than any man - and many women - ever imagined in their lifetimes. Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Friday 7th March Let Me Die a Woman (1978) This is the story of Leslie, a successful male to female transsexual. Leslie is not only engaging and articulate, but she also thoroughly humanizes the pain of someone experiencing gender dysphoria. Director Doris Wishman manages the rare feat of making this movie as sympathetic as it is exploitative. Doctor Wollman our guide introduces bawdy and bloody dramatizations of events in the lives of unfortunate transsexuals, including one man's attempt to remodel his exterior with a hammer and chisel. But even that pales in comparison to the surgery sequences. Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Monday 10th March Empire of the Ants (1977) A toxic spill turns ants into "rampaging, radioactive, reprobates!" Joan Collins a land developer who, along with her clients are "horrified to realize that the ants are having a picnic and humans are on the menu!" They flee and soon discover that the ants want to build "an evil empire where humans check in but they can't check out!" Annandale Hotel 7.30pm Donation Tuesday 11th March Para(noid) Politics in the Archives Chemtrails There is an unusual phenomenon occurring in the skies above America and around the world, that is being ignored by the mainstream media. Planes crossing back and forth in the sky, leaving in their wake a trail of vapor that does not evaporate. These are not your normal commercial airlines following a preordained path from city to city. We take you into the possible reasons and adverse reactions to what is seemingly a massive, top-secret, world wide program of chemical spraying. Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Friday 14th March Super hero Double Roger Corman’s Fantastic Four It was never meant to be seen by human eyes. Roger Corman realised that his option for film rights to the Fantastic Four would expire if he did not produce something. So touted as a genuine release with a budget of 2 million dollars this offering has its moments, some far superior to the 2005 attempt. The Turkish Spiderman versus Turkish Captain America See Spiderman as a degenerate psycho pervert crime boss pitted against the only man in Turkey that can stop him Captain America. This is unbelievable cross over cinema. Before the opening credits Spiderman buries a saucy wench in the sand at the beach, and then his henchmen back a boat propeller into her face! Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Sunday 16th February Mu-Meson Archives Garage Sale Phase four of the spring clean. Records, CD's, DVD's, old equipment, video tapes, Plus esoteric occult book sale, rare books and ancient manuscripts, secrets of the cosmos, tarot, astrology,. Mu-Meson Archives 10am to 2pm. Sunday 16th February Miss Deaths Knitting Group Do you want to learn how to knit, crochet and any other craft? Or you just want to come along for a social? For the new ladies who are coming for the first time bring a friend. Boys are welcome as long as they do a craft or something useful. Mu-Meson Archives 4pm with a plate Monday 17th March Sting of Death (1965) On an island at the edge of the Florida Everglades, biologist Dr. Richardson maintains a scientific research facility. With the aid of assistant John and scarred handyman Egon, he's conducting some vaguely referenced experiments on Portuguese Men O' War. When Richardson's pretty daughter Karen and her sorority sisters come for a visit John and Karen hit it off while poor disfigured Egon sulks under the cruel ribbing of some of the girls. Hence the unleashing of a jellyfish monster that crashes the party. Annandale Hotel 7.30pm Donation Tuesday 18th February Para(noid) Politics in the Archives MYTHS, MISCONCEPTIONS & MISUSE OF HYPNOSIS Philip McDonald BSocSc A lecture and vision exploring the propaganda surrounding the nature of hypnosis. What is Hypnosis, the history of Hypnosis, Reasons for the covert techniques, hypnotic language and confusion techniques, and markers of trance, how do you know if trance has been induced in you without your awareness. Are you part of the hypnotised masses? Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Friday 21st March Albert Fish There are few killers in American history that are remembered today as being as deranged and fiendish as the seemingly kind and harmless Albert Fish. His advantage was he looked like every child's favorite grandfather, but behind the façade lurked a hideous cannibal that preyed on the young and the innocent with his horrific "instruments of hell" -- a meat cleaver, a butcher knife and a saw. Albert Fish remains one of the oldest men ever executed in the electric chair but it was a death that came too late for many of his victims. Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Sunday 23rd March Dusk to Dawn Grindhouse Her Majesty's Top Gun (1977) A hilarious rip off of James Bond. Blazing Magnum (1976) One of the best "Dirty Harry" rip offs. An Ottawa police captain searches for the person who poisoned his sister, when he get nowhere with the investigation he begins to use his own brutal methods to find the killer. Phenomenal and the Treasure of Tutankhamen (1968) A masked superhero searches for a magical golden relic while trying to prevent the plundering of an Egyptian tomb. Mu-Meson Archives doors 7.30 for 8pm start with supper $10 Monday 24th March Night of the Lepus (1972) Night of the Lepus attempts to be socially-conscious eco-horror, concerning a rancher, whose lands are overrun with rabbits. He commissions Roy and Gerry Bennet (Janet Leigh), two scientists to get rid of the problem. Their young daughter releases her favorite bunny that has been treated back into the population. The result is the sudden appearance of super-rabbits who viciously maul nearby ranches and ravage the town, just when you thought you had seen it all here comes Peter Cotton Tail. Annandale Hotel 7.30pm Donation Tuesday 25th March Para(noid) Politics in the Archives Sinister Forces An investigation of the extraordinary research conducted by Peter Levenda. Twenty five years worth of research from virtually every country in the world has culminated in the recent publication of three unbelievable books exploring the underbelly of the American legal system and its links to the Sinister Forces. A grimoire of American political witchcraft is the subtitle of his books and also the subtext of our world wide reality today. Beyond Bohemian Grove lies a very dark place.
