Liveguide is giving away 2 double passes to see LIZA MINNELLI at the Sydney Entertainment Centre!

Chugg Entertainment and David M. Hawkins are proud to present the long awaited return of award winning superstar Liza Minnelli. Bringing her unstoppable Minnelli magic to Australia, Liza will tour nationally during October in an unmatchable concert performance. Based on her current hit Broadway show “Liza’s At The Palace”, the evening will feature an incomparable Minnelli songfest including many of her personal favourites and signature hits.
Along with a twelve-piece orchestra led by conductor/drummer Michael Berkowitz and pianist/musical supervisor Billy Stritch, the performance will feature many of Liza’s showstoppers such as “Cabaret”, “Maybe This Time” and “Theme From New York, New York” – all written especially for her by the legendary Broadway song writing partnership of John Kander and Fred Ebb.
To go in the running to win, just answer the following question: what is your favourite Liza Minnelli moment?
Winners will be drawn Monday October 26 to attend the concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on the 2nd of November.

Her middle name should be Cabaret - I absolutely loved her in that and for me that's where she steals the show!! |

When she sings We are the Champions with the surviving members of the rock band Queen at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992 - she's been a true Champion for over half a decade... long may she continue! |

There are so many amazing Liza moments...having Liza with a Z translated into french and performing it live: "C'est Liza avec Z pas Lisa avec S car Lisa avec S fait sss pas zzz, donc Z au lieu de S, Li au lieu de Lee - dites-le comme je dis, donc Liza!" Amazing! Singing New York, New York with Luciano Pavarotti and saying "Go Luciano" when he takes it from these little town blues...Liza, tap-dancing on the grand piano at the Sondheim Concert at Carnegie Hall...every moment is a Minnelli moment!! |

When Liza replies to the timeless question, why don't you sing your mothers songs? Liza's reply is, "My mother always told me that I never had to sing her songs. They have already been done before. Great piece of advice, hey?" |

Minnelli's first film appearance was at the age of three in the final scene of the 1949 musical In the Good Old Summertime, starring her mother and Van Johnson. |

The MC's introduction of the KitKatKlub's performers at the start of Cabaret; Sally Bowles iis glimpsed in passing as just one, and not even an important one, of the acts: beautifully ironic given the aftermath, both in the film and outside it. |
