Those Sci-Fi films of the 60's we used to watch with our eyes agog! (well if you were a teenager then). Maybe they did see into the realistic future!! Plastic (yes the good old plastic, but made even more durable) domes covering cities to produce living environments with oxygen and green houses for survivors after atoms hit the earth and shifted it partially off it's axle round the sun. A wasteland of parched dried up land, volcanic eruptions and lethal gasses surrounds Earth. |

I think there are dark times ahead if we do not take control of the environment, global warming is bound to change the way we live for the worse ie living in a bubble! |

Hopefully we can find a way to make water...maybe the Rain Dances might work.... And then when we find a way to make an endless supply of water we can then find a way to fuel our transport using that water ???? Otherwise we're stuffed.... |

A dead world, not many people are civilised in this civilisation, and don't learn from past experiences... |

Civilsation in the future will see us recycling our urine for drinking water, fully voice activated motor vehicles and the world as we know it, kept in a bubble to safeguard us from the elements of the previous couple of thousand years. We will have pills that we will take that will end up tasting like a 3 course meal and pets will be hi-tech robots. Hopefully also they will be able to cure ageing with a micro-injection and illnesses will be a thing of the past too. ESP will be unlawful without permission of the other person/s and life will be a lot less stressful. Well, I can only hope it happens in my lifetime. |

I think it's going to be just like the Jetsons with us living in the clouds, hopping into our little flying craft and spending only and hour or so at work while we watch The Jetsons on holographic 3D screens to pass the time of day. |
