Thanks to Icon Film, Liveguide is giving away three Push prize packs - the new film starring Dakota Fanning.

In a dangerous world of psychic warfare, where artificially enhanced paranormals have the ability to move objects with their minds, see the future, and kill without touching their victims, a group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic abilities are in hiding from a secret US government agency.
A future-seeing Watcher, Cassie (Dakota Fanning), teams up with a telekinetic Mover, Nick (Chris Evans), to help steal a briefcase that will determine the future of civilisation. To outrun the government agents on their trail, they must enlist the help of a mysterious, mind-controlling Pusher, Kira (Camilla Belle).
As the complex series of events and interconnections unfold, the young psychics must employ their different talents and work together to escape the agency forever.
PUSH features an all star cast including Chris Evans (Fantastic Four), Camilla Belle (When a Stranger Calls), Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds) and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond).
The prize pack features an official PUSH 'Pusher' t-shirt, a selection of 3 Official PUSH comics, as well as a double pass to see the film.
To go in the running to win, just answer the following question below: what do you think awaits civilisation in the future?
Entries close Friday 4th of September.

I'm awaiting nuclear powered watches, unmanned submarines, a sonic youth album that does not contain incoherent noise. Walt Disney will be defrosted and regain the Disney corporations hold on animated feature films. Phillip K Dick will be properly acknowledged for the books that let to great films such as Blade runner and Total Recall. And I'll win lotto. |

Water refugees- as the glaciers melt there is less run off in highly populated countries so people are disclocated. Combine that with rising seas, you get mass movements of people with nowhere to go. Social tensions??! |

our children telling us they don't understand, when we say we used to play computer games in 2D- "What do you mean?" "Like paper, you know, 2D". "Like toilet paper?" |

How far into the future are we talking about? Not much will happen to civilization by tomorrow morning.. In 10 Billion years time it will be as if we never existed. In 100 Billion years time the sun will expand and we may as well NOT have existed. In 100 years time there will be world anarchy as we run out of water, food and other resources, become globalised despite ourselves, the world will be broke (- there is only so much money the globalists can own and then what can they do with the money?) Rocky XXVII will be just released, Bob Dylan will have released his 6th posthumous digital album from a long forgotten Sun Session, Chuck Norris will still be alive, we will be living in deserts, it will be hot, there will be multiple extreme weaher events which will make it difficult to do the grocery shopping, my Audi will have long ago become a home for worms and beetles, more people will now live by the sea (because the sea has come to them), polar bears, penguins and arctic tern will not be at all happy, any remaining frogs will be similarly distressed and most of the worlds population will be of Indian or Chinese descent. Have I missed anything? Oh yeah, plastic won't be a distant memory and neither will the nuclear waste....... |

Hopefully, when you go to the cinema to see a movie in peace, every patron will be issued with a taser gun that they can use on people who insist on talking, using their mobile or eating loudly during a movie!! This is long overdue...I want it now actually!! |

The Pacific Ocean will rise, and my modest Bondi Junction home will become fantastically valuable waterfront property as the glamours at Bondi are forced inland to live in Newtown. |

Everyone but the rich will look like stick figures as the cost of food will rise so high as to be unattainable for us ordinary folk. |

I like to picture the future like The Jetsons, only I don't have any children and my hair isn't blindingly orange. I'll head down to the shops in my spaceship and come home with tiny cubes that are rehydrated to form delicious meals with no effort! I will ignore my husband's cries as he's mangled by the moving walkway outside our home! Delightful! |

we will depend on animals special abilities and senses (more than what we do now) to function in society.
they will be bred and farmed not only for food or domestic pets, but as weapons for offence and defence in wars.
- venomous snakes could silently infiltrate enemy territory killing off soldiers.
- mice and insects could discreetly contaminate food and water speading debilitatiing diseases
- big cats (lions, tigers, leopards - take your pick) could be trained to gaurd home bases at night
- birds could be sent out to spy on the enemys plan of attack.
dogs, wolves, bears etc.. could warn us about mother natures plans of attack too. |
