Tas Meanie R.I.P Tasman Blizzard, a.k.a Tas Meanie, has died in a car accident on the Bellarine Peninsula near Geelong on Friday August 1st 2008. Tas was a member of Australian punk group the Meanies since 1993, best known for their Triple J hits 10% Weird and Ton of Bricks. He was also the founding member of the Goorillas, as well as a psychologist who worked with families in crisis. Blizzard's funeral will be held today at Point Lonsdale Boardriders club.
