Mumford and Sons SUBLIME at The Palace in Melbourne last night. All the boys in electrifying mult-instrumentalist form. Saw them at Laneway in January - great then but EVEN BETTER now! Tighter, more confident. Marcus - in strong voice despite a sore throat - is a tour de force. I couldn't look away. Little Lion Man and The Cave got the house jumping, but the highlight for me was Lover of the Light - to see Marcus "wig out" at the drum kit like that I was what I see live music for.
Am flying up to Sydney to see them again. Wish they could stay in Oz a bit longer.

The Sons are one of the most energetic and generous live acts in the world today. Do what you have to do people, but go see them!
