Shirl, My husband thinks it may have been Natural Woman? Perhaps Mexico was in the first set? Thanks so much for the list - we had no idea how to get hold of this! My husband saw the titles written down on a blackboard at James Taylor's feet, but when he got home he couldn't remember the full list.

Wednesday nights song list (maybe different to Thursday's) had "Natural Woman" in the first set and the 3rd song in the second set was definitely "Mexico" because James joked that it was usually an open song and in his words "last time Carole" did something "like Heidi-O" - not really sure what he meant by that. Wed night was FABULOUS - a brilliant show by true professionals and seasoned entertainers. They could teach some of the other recent tourers (eg Britney & Whitney, a thing or two about entertainment.

Carole King and James Taylor couldn't be faulted. Hope Estate venue management could have been better. Big fat belligerent bottoms didn't care whether they blocked other paying audience members' view. Security was useless. Concert would have been perfect but for those selfish cows.

I've been listening to James and Carole since the early 70s and was blown away ny their incredible performance at Hope Estate last night - one of the best concerts I've ever been to in 40 years. They sounded just like they used to and were obviously really enjoying the night too.

Who was the support act at Hope Estate last night? He didnt intro himself, maybe I was supposed to know. What an awesome night and what a voice Carole still has!

James Taylor and Carol King are fantastic musicians who surround themselves with other talented people. Hope Estate however couldn't organise a piss up in a winery. Lack of food. Heavy handed security. Lack of wrist bands delayed our entry for 30 minutes.

My husband & I attended Hunter Valley concert. We had very good seats but I agree with others, I expected better from the venue. Toilet lines were "way over yonder"and the same for food ques only to be told they had run out when you reached the counter! Not good enough Hope Estate!

Carole King and James Taylor were fantastic. The owner of this venue needs to be aware of certain requirements. Inadequate facilities for disabled people still has me speechless. Food was completely appalling. 4 separate lines ran out of food. Prices exorbitant, i.e. pies and soft drinks for 2 adults $42.50. Pies weren't even hot (probably cost extra). Security on admission were bully boys with no manners. My husband is a brittle diabetic and security threw out his jelly beans and unopened bottle of water. No ifs, no buts, did not want to look at the doctor's certificate he has to carry. Then had to join a queue for 40 mins to refill with tank water. Hope Estate needs to pull its socks up because it's losing people, us for starters! It must be nice to have money but not care how you obtain it. Mr Hope, your venue for this standard of entertainment stinks!

Hope Estate, you need to learn how to do this better. If you say no chairs it's no chairs, forcing us to tip out water and then having to stand at a tank for 45 mins to refill was outrageous and an hour and a half wait for a hot (cold chocolate) + running out of food - ugh. As for JT and CK, brilliant only next time I will see them elsewhere

Hope Estate - What a take. It's unfortunate that such fantastic entertainers were let down by such an inferior venue. We paid $125 for tickets (general admission), on the day people were buying 2 for $100. Were do you start - no chairs, no food, no bottled wine after 6.30 (but you can purchase a glass for $9), no clean toilets the list goes on. Hope Estate are obviously just interested in getting the money in. Will not be returning.

Carol King and James Taylor gave one of the best live performances I 've seen in years on Monday night at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. They received one standing ovation after another and were obviously moved by the audience's response. What a night to remember!

James and Carole were stunning. It was fantastic to hear James' original band (Leland Sklar, Russ Kunkel and Danny 'Kootch' Kortchmar) - what a great bonus - Kootch was a bit rusty but still energised, and Leland and Russ were true to all the original arrangements - Lee is a fantastic 'bed'. Hi to Arnold from Max and Michael and Sally, great feature cameo. What a night under the southern stars.

So good to see and hear REAL professionals plying their craft with no gimmicks!
Carole's energy and continual smile were completely engaging

Carole King and James Taylor put on a brilliant performance last Saturday. Carole's voice got croaky a few times but she is 68 and singing in the cold night air-I'm pleased to contribute to her super fund tour. Hope Estate is a beautiful venue and if you ordered a hamper and timed your other purchases and toilet visits there was no problem. Come on baby boomers stop whing(e)ing!

Seeing Carole and James play felt like I'd imagine being amongst royalty...true legends with a timeless songs. Just wish more of the younger genereation could have been there. Carole and James songs need to be played more on radio, songs that are catchy, original and meaningful.

Unfortunately we were unable to attend Carole KIng and James Taylor this year at the HOpe winery..but..yes, we did travel to Auckland to see the show. Auckland Arena and the crowd were absolutely dynamic. Sadly HOpe Winery has a long way to go to please performers and accommodate a large crowd. We have attended this venue before and it is a poor comparison to the event held in Auckland. Come on Australia, caTCH UP TO THE KIWIS!!!

Can anyone tell me who the support act was for Carole and James at Hope Estate? Thoroughly enjoyed every second of the concert. Best I have ever been to.
