What a show!! Loved every second of it in Melbourne Sunday 14th. The way Cliff danced around...... like he did way back in 1961 when I saw him in South Africa. Amazing... and the Shadows too, what musicians!!! |

We went to the 13th Feb concert and it was spectacular- Cliff, the Shadows and 2 other musicians taking us back to our youth with many much loved songs and guitar themes played with vibrancy and perfect chords. They all looked good even on the big screen. L o v e d it so much and it confirms I had good taste at a young age. |

Gold Coast show was great! Enjoyed Cliff's stamina & was blown away with Hank B's guitar mastery. Hank has lived in Perth for some time now...can we claim him as an Aussie??? |

Cliff and the Shadows were amazing...wow I couldn't believe they would be so entertaining after all those years since 1961 when Cliff first graced our shores. The Shadows played like they were still 18 yo...yep they did their little back and forth dances with the back leg kick and all. Hank and Bruce never stopped smiling and Brian on the drums was even better than ever. The whole night was full of nostalgia, good old fashioned rock 'n roll where you can understand and hear the words clearly. The four changes of clothes for Cliff left us speachless and I can honestly say this boy still looks hot in a pair of jeans and t/shirt...wow what a body! All the boys were gracious and most thankful to the fans that attended on the night at Rod Laver. Stories were told with most of the songs and a few jokes and clowining around was also part of the delightful routine. It is of course sad to know, that this will be their final tour...many old favourites were sung i.e. "Living Doll" & the likes off "Summer Holiday" etc, the Shadows of course did not disapoint either and "Apache" was certainly the crowds most sought after tune. Many shouts from the audience included "we love you Cliff" and Yes, it true, we still do. |

I also attended the Gold Coast concert and it was simply superb. Cliff is a consumate professional and for his age he really can move it! It was nice to see the Shadows play live, but overall the entire performance was so well balanced and the sound was pure heaven. |

Drove from Sydney to see Cliff and the Shadows last night at the Hope Estate, Hunter Valley NSW. I can't express how privileged I feel to have seen these legends. The show was high energy, high quality and well-worth the trip! As a 34y.o who grew up listening to the music, I had to remind myself many a time that these wonderful performers are all ~70 y.o.. with Cliff's sweet voice and the Shadows' powerful, unique and emotive sound. Some songs even made me shed a tear or two and it was so nice to see some 'older folk' dancing in the aisles and reminiscing of younger years. |

Went to the Brisbane concert. Fantastic!!! Cliff and the Shads sounded as great as they did when they started. Hank Marvin was brilliant with his guitar work as expected and Cliff? well what a master! Didn't want it to end. |

The support act at the Hope Estate was Wendy Matthews. I went to both this one and Sydney both shows absolutely fantastic, the man just never ages and was brilliant and the Shadows were great they just seemed to be having a great time with each other as well. Please come back soon don't leave it another 7 years. |

What an inspiration to us all, no need for drugs, grog and slimy behaviour in a wonderful career. Cliff has improved over the decades and was supported magnificently by the Shadows, fantastic performers in their own right. If I never see another live performance, I will not feel that I have missed anything. Sydney Entertainment Centre never sounded so good |

Saw the sydney concert and realised this was the first and probably the last time I'll see the Shadows playing together with Cliff. I've seen Cliff on each Sydney visit since 1989 but it was fabulour seeing these giants performing together. Where on earth was the media - I was hoping to see them being interviewed on tv. They truly are the kings of pop. No fancy gimmicks or dance moves. Just superb music for 2hrs 30min. Long may these kings reign. |

I waited since 1960 to see cliff and the shadows, and I wasn't disappointed. The boys still have it. I even bought the cd and dvd. I used to have the first living doll 45, but now I don't own a record player.. Brilliant show and congratulations boys, well done....... Julie |

The King is dead, the Beatles long since exterminated, alas, but the Crown Prince of Rock lives on - and so, fortunately, do his courtiers, royalty in their own right. When the final history of R&R is written, whose names will rank above those of The Shadows? For sheer virtuosity, charisma, stage presence and all else that matters, they surely rank in the Top Ten perormers of all time. |
