$50 ticket, 4 hr drive.

does anyone reckon/know if it just says that they are sold out (as in the preliminary tickets for fans) and then they'll sell more on monday? maybe this is wishful thinking. but I figure big day out ticketing fucked up recently - always the chance.

why does the palace theatre website tell me vampire weekend are not playing at all?
I also rang them just an hour ago and they have no knowledge of this gig.
Have I missed something? has it been cancelled?

^^ I highly doubt it would be cancelled on the same day the announcements were made :P
Just give it a day or two and try again, maybe the staff member you were talking to just didn't know about it.
