I went to the concert and was totally disapointed in Chicago. The famous songs were tortured by an out of tune and far too aggressive singer. I think he thought he was in Metallica not Chicago. Top marks to PF and America!!

I agree with Elaine. I saw the first concert in Sydney. Sound quality was poor for the 3 bands. The clothing was a mish mash off the street. I have to "reset" my brain on how great Chicago are, by listening to a few old CDs.

Saw the show at Wollongong last night. The Peter Framton,America and Brian Wilson segments were great but thoughtdidn't think much of the Chicago singer.

Went to the Sydney show on Friday! These guys can all still rock!! After all they've each had 30 to 40 years of "practice"!
My order of preference, Frampton, Chicago, America. Best bang for your buck!!

Was at Hope Estate too and agree with John that Peter Frampton should have been the headline act. American good. Chicago terrible. Brian Wilson OK but should probably retire.

Went to AIS Arena Canberra last night - Peter Frampton wonderful minus his long locks and very funny and guitar playing unbelievable. America just the best - same as I remember when I saw them at Hordern Pavillion Syndey in the 80s. And Chicago not that great for me - however on googling a bit of info I now know it is Peter Cetera that I missed - lead singer not a patch on him - totally enjoyable night - the first artist singer - sorry name escapes me was also very good. I just wished there was more America - definitely the crowd favourite last night!

Went to the AIS show last night.
Peter Frampton was very good, America were impressive and Chicago (despite the main singer having some vocal issues) were fantastic. Great sound in the arena. Bloody fantastic pa and all the bands did their very best. For those Chicago detractors, the band has had quite a few line up changes over the years and if you didnt quite like the singers voice in 'Make Me Smile' he did a great job on one of the other songs. It was fabulous to see three of the original band members and they worked their backsides off for the entire show. Yes Peter Cetera is missed but he has been gone since 1985, so get over it! No one has mentioned Terry Kath, he was a sensational guitarist and vocalist, why no complaints about him not being there (apart from the obvious)?
The sound remains the same, most of the music played was from the early records, so if you were a chicago fan in the late 60's or 70's you would have to be pleased with the show, all you had to do was close your eyes and listen.I'm glad I was there.Amongst my final comments, Mark Wilkinson who opened the show was really great. Good on you Mark and all the best....
