these guys are amazing. some of the best rock in the country.

you have no idea what 'rock' is. i saw them at Come Together and every other band on the bill was better than them. even the 15 year old hardcore bands playing at 11am. if you like your 'rock' with a heavy dose of irony and an utter lack of balls, though, you'll love them

did you read my Come Together review? i heard their music. they were the worst band on the day. 15 year old Central Coast emocore bands had more talent and passion then them. but hey... guess it ain't 'cool' to care about actually putting on a decent show or knowing how to play guitar

yeah, I read your review, and even though I wasn't there, I can easily say that your opinion of them being the worst band in the whole Sudnay is absolute bullshit. I've seen these guys a number of times and they've been consistently amazing.

no, MCR have budgets for styling and marketing. Children Collide are a band who came out of the suburbs, write good rock music and put on a good show. this conversation is absurd. but only because your absurd opinion makes up part of it.

do you know good rock music? MCR have songs that mean something and the ability to play them. they're not afraid to look absurd and sing their hearts out. Children Collide stood in front of a full Big Top and noodled on one chord for the entire show. it was 'experimental' or 'indie' - it was just crap

children collide are very worthy. maybe you did catch them on a bad night, good to see that you havent let that slant your opinion of them overall. i have 3 of their ep's, seen them a couple of times and am looking forward to hearing their full length studio album. perhaps you need not waste time presenting your idle thoughts on a band you obviously would prefer not to listen to?

I was asked to review the show. I reviewed the show. I care about ROCK AND ROLL and will make it my mission to attack bands I see as subpar, unexciting, or just plain lame. yes, a festival is a bad setting to judge some bands - but the Getaway Plan and the Living End still made something of it. Children Collide seem like another one of Sydney's 'rock' bands that don't really care about music -they just care about posing and being 'cheeky'. i expect to see them touring with Lost Valentinos and Van She soon....

i can nto BELIEVE this conversation. c collide are without quesition one of the best rock bands in australia. AND they put on like seriously the most intense show i have ever seen! they mustnt have played well that night because they ARE amazing. i am so excited about the full length album too teeth! the EPs are incredible. so f*ckin exciting!! bring it on.
