- spiderbait disappointing. timing all over the shop, guitarist continually stopped halfway thru songs to retune guitar or fiddle with fuzz box etc. not like the old days at all.

- little birdy. awesome, i so love that band. they didn't seem to be putting overly much into it, but they are just that good it didn't matter.

- children collide: amazing. what a performance. if you haven't seen these guys live then do so. one of the best live hard rocking acts i've seen

- beautiful girls: these guys were sublime. played for ages and the atmos was to die for. everyone left the first night with huge buzz

- now let's see, who else. need to find out more about 'me' from melbourne. queen meets tim freedman meets the muse. watch this space.  the standard of acts overall was very high. i pretty much saw everyone and pretty much enjoyed everyone, great variety of sounds and more blues than bluesfest (less chairs too )

all day saturday was a great sound and the secondary stage acts were really great fun (hats off to geoff turnbull).

great little festival and all the better for the size :) well done guys.
