I am trying to get your system to work andit is not at all user friendly. I want to book two tickets for myself and my wife for the Adelaide festival concert. I have signed up (mulhallen2@adam.com.au) but all i get is that someone else is going to this gig. It doesn't even tell me whether thye gigf is sold out, how much the tickets are etc |

seen ry cooder and nick lowe at brisbanes convention centre and was hugely dissapointed with nick lowe's performance, after being a great fan of his for over 25 years we really expected him to at least have done a couple of his greatest hits but not one even one, instead we had to listen to an unknown female supporting artist who we didn't realise we paid our tickets for as well if we had've known before hand we would never had gone because we were under the impression that we were there to listen to Ry Cooder and Nick Lowe not some unknown female artist trying to get to the top at our expense, very disappointed, will not recommend this tour to anyone especially if you're expecting any of Nicks greatest hits because there weren't any at all, just pull out any of your old records instead and you wont have to pay $139. a ticket either |

One of the best concerts I've ever been to - I've waited 30 years and was not disappointed. Beg, borrow or steal a ticket. |

Went last night to the State Theatre gig..best thing about it was the venue, its brillant..show was a flop..only 14 songs in total, including a couple of lame ditties from Ry that no-one enjoyed. Nick was less self-indulgent but only did 5 of his songs and no cruel to be kind. Big disappointment gentlemen. |

Both of these artists are good enough to headline their own show, so appearing together is a compromise, particularly when they played for just over an hour and a half. Ry Cooder’s guitar playing was breathtaking and as a fan of 25 years last night at the State Theatre was the first time I have seen him play and I’m glad I was thereI. I’ve seen Nick Lowe twice before. When he supported Elvis Costello & the Confederates in 87 and again a few years later when he toured on the back of “The Impossible Bird.” Both of these performances were more memorable. Even as a support act for Costello he played a longer set with more of his hits. Would have loved to have heard “The Beast in Me” last night. |

Brilliant Show,State Theatre must be one of the best for live shows in Sydney.Juliette & Joachim ripped up the opening,Ry & Nick took it on home not all of their hits were on the set list but the songs they did had every-one calling for more.Great show, great venue.Be at one of these shows for a fun night.Little sister topped off the night.Well done to both bands. |

Went to see Nick Lowe. What a wank! What a waste of hard earned cash. None of the great songs. Didnt appear to want to be there. Couldnt get off the stage fast enough. Didnt go to listen to him playing bass guitar and pasly so few songs.Very very dissapointed. He should have stayed at home.Obvoiuosly didnt want to be there. Rip off. Never again and never another purcase. Pathetic Nick. |

Canberra concert. Took my 15- year old son to see some quality. Excellent - a privilege to be there. Although, hard to take eyes off Juliette and Alex as backing vocals. |

This Ry fan was delighted once more by his taste and finesse. I enjoyed seeign the concentration and sympathy between father and son in getting each groove going, then to relax into it and turn it into music from the heart. Ry occasionally had trouble with his Blackface Fender amp, accusing it at one point of being a failed wahwah pedal. Nick was a generous bass player (although his tone sounded a bit muddy to my ear) and witty MC. Juliette and the other lady made great backup vocalists. A very memorable evening, thanks. |

I'm a huge Ry Cooder fan and I have waited over 20 years to see him play live. I saw the first Melb show and I was somewhat dissapointed. I thought the combo best highlighted Nick Lowe's songs which I really enjoyed (and not knowing much of his material. The irony here is that, in my opinion, Ry's interpretation of his recorded material was not as exciting as hir original stuff. Look I had a good time, I came to worship but I was more impressed with Nick's stuff. How's that for a different view with these other posts? |

A master at work! What a great show: with "Vigilante Man" early on and "Little Sister" later . . . Tight 3 piece: great drumming and Lowe's bass and vocal in almost alternate songs. Come back again!! |

Ry Cooder is a master of all things musical, he simply is brilliant! Only thing though, wish that Ry had played ''more songs''...he has so many but played so few? |

I have seen a lot of great acts - wings, Springsteen, Dylan, Simon,Knopfler etc etc and this concert was one of the best. I agree with earlier poster te juliette. All in all a trully memorable evening. I am secretly hoping they will release an album from the tour. Nick Lowe was a surprise packet for me. |
