Fluro is for the fashionably unimaginative.  It had its place, it's place is over.  Now you're like the sheep from Animal Farm - get a personality!

not a good idea - really bad for OH&S as you can't tell the difference between council workers and 'party animals'... (have we learnt nothing from ravers)

I might like to dance but I really don't need fluoro to highlight to everyone around me how bad I am. Black is the new black for me....

Flouro will be the colour of my clothes and my happiness when i'm dancing (getting 'trash'!) to The Whip at We Love Sounds! You say flouro's had its time in the sun, I know the fun has just begun...

It really depends on the mood, if i'm out dancing and drinking then i love flouro, being bright bubbly full of life and cant be missed, if its not a active mood and situation then flouro only gives me a headache and makes me blind....

Yeah..i remember flouro the first time round. I wish i'd kept all my old clothes....then i'd be able to sell them on e-bay and make $$$. I like a bit of colour but....really folks come up with somethin fresh instead of re-creating the past. If you're gonna bring back flouro at least have the decency to bring back some good old LSD and cheap magic beans too!.....and decent lighting rigs, mmm....golden scans anyone....i want lasers......

ohhhh dear old flouro. what shall we do with you. it really should be hidden away for only the safety-keen night cycler and the labouring roadworker. Although i do like to bake my body at the solarium and wear so much Stevie i turn into AMF bowling on UV light disco night I think it's time to let White Charlie go. There's only so many sunglasses one can purchase to shield the blinding force of a citrus wife beater. wearing classic rave fluoro to the local it just as bizarre as wearing heels to the gym, it just ain't cricket love. So let's lower the increasing cataract stats in melbourne; give fluoro the flick!

Fluoro clothing on people like us (the fans of this generation of independent new music) has to simple be mockery of when metrosexual was fashionable with those hardcore plastic ken dolls with bleached blonde straightened hair and fluoro outfits. Why must we be reminded of THEM!! The past must stay in the past, fluoro was never "in" if you were sane, maybe to mock the metros, definitely to MOCK THE METROS! It's "Klaxons" that started the whole ordeal, but alas, where are Klaxons? They've disappeared, taking fluoro with them. SHUN FLUORO from our innocent eyes!!!!

Wear a trench coat and some skinny leg jeans. :)

bright flouro colours make me cheerful

without it this winter i'd be tearful

my neon shades and bouncin' tunes

will see me through these months of gloom

yellow, orange, pink and lime

these happy hues even make me rhyme

to all of you who dress in black

and tell me flouro's gone, it won't come back

I'll wave my glowsticks and I'll dance

and it's you who I'll entrance

peace all!

Oh, not to blame the Klaxons please!
They featured fluoro in a "hey the 80's we cool eh?" sort of way.
Not so much the "I'm 16 and I go to underage clubs where we only wear items that are off the light spectrum!"

It was great in the 80's, but that's where it should stay, in the 80's

Hi everyone, thanks for entering the competition, I'm closing it up now. Cheers for your entries. I've got to give the tickets to SarahJayne, that poem is so dreadful that she really needs some time away. Cheers!
