Tour: Michael Franti & Spearhead

American poet and rapper Michael Franti is returning to Australia in October with his group Spearhead, in support of his forthcoming album 'All Rebel Rockers'.

The new album was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica with Sly & Robbie. 'All Rebel Rockers' is said to "deviate from Franti & Spearhead's previous sound, and [will] comprise a hybrid dub-infused sould flavour with some hard-hitting dub rock production."

Franti is a fixture of the Australian summer festival circuit. He will be joined by the Winner Coopers and DJ Nick Toth.
