Australia's adopted piano playing son (well, at least after he threw a piano stool at a piano and got a serve from Geoff Harvey) (and then got a divorce from his Adelaide wife) (I guess his connection with Australia is pretty obtuse) has got a new album coming out. Since the new album was so dour, what with him going through a divorce and all, the new album he says was produced with a feeling of freedom that he didn't have before: "I felt like a bottle of champagne that had been shaken for 18 months and popped open in the studio. That's why this record has so much energy."
The newie is out in September and is going to be called Way To Normal and features Regina Spektor.
