Bangalow will vibrate to the incredible sounds of the Annual Bangalow Music Festival celebrating its 11th brilliant year presenting beautiful music in the picturesque & exquisite surrounds of the township of Bangalow. Offering up a stunning program of enchanting world class music performed in the intimate settings of Bangalow’s heritage listed A&I Hall by some of the best musicians and performers from Australia and around the world.

“We can’t wait to take the audiences on a journey around the world over three days, with the music of France, Germany, Italy, Russia, America and Australia.

The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra First Concertmaster Ilya Konovalov returns for his third festival, playing the all time audience favourite - the Bruch Violin Concerto with the Bangalow Festival Chamber Orchestra in concert eight: ‘The Greats’, as well as Mozart’s “Jupiter” symphony.
Extraordinary Australian vocalist Katie Noonan makes her Bangalow Music Festival debut in what promises to be a breathtaking performance! Her extraordinary vocals are ideally suited to the soaring vocal lines of Elena Kats-Chernin’s most successful theatrical works Wild Swans and Little Green Road to Fairyland. Katie will perform in concert five: “Australian Dreams” at 3pm on Saturday August 18.
Following her triumph at last years BMF, International Opera superstar Lisa Gasteen returns for two stunning concerts. Gasteen will perform Respighi’s sublime
Il Tramonto (the Sunset) in concert six, Dolce Italiana - also featuring a variety of musical delights from some of Italy’s finest composers – and in concert two: Deutsch Romantisch, where she will deliver an incomparable presentation of Alban Berg’s Seven Early Songs.
Presented by the eminent chamber music ensemble, Southern Cross Soloists, The award-winning Bangalow Music Festival is a highlight in the Australian music festival calendar. The Festival has grown to become one of the country’s finest music festivals presenting a program rich in collaboration between professional chamber ensembles, emerging young artists, Australian composers and outstanding soloists.
After attending the Festival in 2004, legendary Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe described it as, “the most exciting festival, outside a capital city, that I have ever attended”.
