Adelaide Festival celebrates its establishment as an annual event today with a program featuring 386 performances from 970 international and Australian artists.

Over 17 days from Friday 2 March to Sunday 18 March 2012, the Adelaide Festival will feature a bounty of world and Australian premiere events from the world’s best theatre, music, dance, visual arts and literary identities.

In his final year as Adelaide Festival Artistic Director, Paul Grabowsky said: “The 2012 Adelaide Festival offers experiences from the large scale to the intimate, with 14 events that are exclusive to Adelaide. We have assembled a compelling line-up of artists and productions responding to a world in the throes of massive change.”
