Description:
October brings new life to Brisbane's music scene with the birth of On The Pulse Festival featuring 15 punk, rock and pop artists performing across two stages on Saturday October 23 (2010) at the Fortitude Valley PCYC and The Hive!
Built entirely around the most promising unsigned or independently signed artists this country has to offer, On The Pulse promises an all age – drug and alcohol free event.
The Fortitude Valley PCYC and the Hive - both located in the hub of Brisbane’s music precinct will play host to the On The Pulse Festival. The venue is already well aligned with the youth of Brisbane through its many musical, sporting and activities already staged at the facility.
Forming the 2010 line-up is: Finabah, Flicks, The Monstor Goes Rawrr, Burning Brooklyn, Words Versing Verses, Drawcard, Autumn Heartache, The City Shake Up, Cold and Need, Trashqueen, Bixby Canyon, Calais, Starting Sunday and more to be announced!
“On The Pulse has been created not only to create a quality festival platform for our younger and growing artists, but also to present an exciting opportunity for young music fans to be introduced to new music and exciting new bands,” says Festival promoter Marc Mancini.
