Summer has arrived and it doesn’t get any better than this; world-class tunes, a lush setting overlooking Albert Park Lake and partying with your closest friends in the sun. Now in its 20th year, betterdays returns for New Years Day 2010, in what’s set to be the party season’s premier boutique event.

This year we welcome seminal French touch outfit Cassius to the betterdays stage, with their devastating ‘Dex n FX show’ across 2 mixers, 4 turntables and EFX machines. Fred Falke also joins the party, who is currently blazing a streak of world-beating form, having re-rubbed Little Boots, La Roux, Annie and Gossip to superb effect in the last 12 months. Hed Kandi’s Tara McDonald rounds out the international guests and is set to perform a live PA, having earned her stripes cutting vocals with David Guetta, Armand van Helden and Axwell, among many others.

As usual, the event also boasts a premium collection of locals, with: John Course, Grant Smillie, Franky D, Brad Sassman Andy Murphy, Mr Stoj, James Belias, Wei Shen and plenty more set to entertain you across the betterdays, House and Disco stages.

Set to take over the spectacular Carousel on Albert Park Lake, betterdays will also stretch its wings on to the surrounding parklands to ensure everyone has plenty of room to enjoy the party. The event will include full bar service, gourmet BBQ, Day Beds, VIP areas, extra amenities, plus the coolest people in town. Most memorable gig of the summer? Don’t say we didn’t tell you so!
