Seve Faleupolu Gooding, a Samoan craftsperson, will introduce you to traditional wrapping and weaving techniques that can be used to make contemporary jewellery, body adornment or interior decorations. Learn some inspiring age-old body adorning techniques refashioned into contemporary jewellery from one of our nearest Pacific Island neighbours. Useing traditional and non-traditional materials Seve Faleupolu will show you how to make a pendant, bracelet or necklace. All materials supplied including coloured raffia, feathers and an assortment of braids and threads. Feel free to bring along any beloved materials, such as beads, that you might like to incorporate into your work.
