"It is a rare treat to see a musician with such a masterful grasp of his craft performing with such effortless charisma, humour, and inventiveness. I was blown away." – Tim Minchin Adam Page returns to the Ellington with his high energy and hilarious solo looping show. Adam’s primary instrument is the saxophone but his show includes an astonishing variety of eclectic instruments including ukeles, keyboards and flutes as well as beatboxing and Tuvan throat singing! All of Adam’s compositions are improvised and utilise his outstanding skills with his looping pedals…he has also been known on occasion to play his majestic, wizardly Beard. Adam has performed in international festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Uijongbu Arts Festival in Korea, while also playing Australian festivals such as WOMADelaide and the Big Day Out. He was awarded Best Music at the 2011 Adelaide Fringe Festival, Best Music and Best Solo Show at the 2009 New Zealand Fringe Festival and has been touring all over New Zealand with some of the country’s finest musicians since crossing the ditch to live in New Zealand in late 2011.
