Taking place in the roaring 1920s , the "Wild Party" portrays a blowout party in one wild evening in the Manhattan apartment shared by two vaudeville performers, Queenie and Burrs. Featuring Mark Simpson (Rocky Horror & Hairspray), Amy Vee (Tim Freedman Band & Indie artist), Marty Worrall (Idol Finalist & local Singer-songwriter) and showcasing Angela McKeown (Jazz Vocalist) as "Queenie". The 15 strong cast will be supported by a 12 piece jazz orchestra featuring both local Conservatorium graduates and Sydney based professionals. The Wild Party is a musical with a book by Michael John LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe and music and lyrics by LaChiusa. It is based on the 1928 Joseph Moncure March narrative poem of the same name. The Wild Party is presented through special arrangement with Origin Theatrical on behalf of R&H Theatrical. Mature content suggests this show may not be suitable for all patrons.
