Steeped in the rhythms of her native Cuba and influenced by her love of the jazz tradition Marialy delivers commanding performances of pure musical joy. Her exquisite compositions combined with virtuosic piano technique are a spine tingling experience earning her international acclaim throughout extensive tours of Europe including concerts in Germany as guest soloist with Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel. Marialy has been awarded many international prizes for her superb pianistic skills and in her teens won the coveted “Jo-Jazz” piano competition with Grammy award-winner Chucho Valdes presiding over the jury.
