Come and be dazzled by a very colourful exhibition. New Horizons marks a 64-year contribution to Canberra by the artists of Canberra Art Workshop (CAW). Since 1948, CAW has operated as a self-funded community art organisation. Now, about 250 members strong, this lively community operates seven days a week, welcoming artists of all ages to attend daytime and evening work groups, including portraiture, life drawing, printmaking, experimental painting, and pastels. Gordon Bull, Head of the Australian National University School of Art, will officially open New Horizons at 2pm on Saturday 4 February.
