Prepare to leave Chinese Laundry this February 17th with your clothes and eardrums torn to shreds as the club is exposed to the most beastly beats at the helm of the bass hungry Wolfgang—DOCTOR WEREWOLF, THE MANE THING & NEON STEREO!
Whether it’s dropping Dubstep doozies at Australia’s biggest festivals, mesmerising the masses with that Moombahton sound, or pumping out their own productions for your pleasure, DOCTOR WEREWOLF aka Andrew Bell & Adam Zae, are riding the basstrain to the top, pushing Drumstep, Dubstep, DnB and Bassline Electro to anyone who will listen. Never failing to bring an ecstatic energy to every performance, its no wonder Doctor Werewolf are time and time again asked to support the world’s biggest artists, including Noisia, Borgore, Sub Focus, Chase & Status, Nero, Skism, Bar 9, London Electricity, Rusko, Doctor P, Rico Tubbs, Bassnectar, Skism, Stanton Warrioris, Yuksek, & Klute (to name drop just a few). As well as rocking a mean live show, Doctor Werewolf’s original productions and bass-heavy remix work for the likes of Coolio, Wiley, Aquasky, the Hump Day Project, Life Express have been making waves internationally, with massive tune support coming from Kissy Sellout, Rico Tubbs, Freq Nasty, Kid Kenobi, Mt Eden Dubstep and Cutline seeing the Werewolf Soundcloud sustaining 100,000 plays in the last twelve months and rising!
Almost amongst the Wolfgang and fore fronting the Moombahton sound are THE MANE THING, whose bootleg remix of Rusko’s ‘Hold On’ gained them massive props internationally and even spurred Diplo himself to blog the massive tune. The Mane Thing’s productions are palpable, with their ‘Roll With The Winners’ remix taking the top spot in the Cheap Thirlls remix competition and gaining support from the likes of Kissy Sellout who blasted the tune on his BBC Radio 1 show in the UK. At the start of 2012, Beatport listed the RWTW remix at number 3 in their top Moombahton chart of 2011—and even bigger things are still in store.
Completing the Wolfgang is NEON STEREO, whose remixes of heavyweights such as Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Paul Harris & Andy Caldwell been given the thumbs up by a plethora of international names that reads like a dance music royal family tree including James Zabiela, Pete Tong, Tiesto, Nick Warren and Paul Van Dyk. Whether it’s in big luscious rooms or dark and sweaty spaces, Neon’s intense performances and releases are not to be missed!
