Utilising old timey instruments (banjo, dobro and washboard) with the unorthodox percussion of hammer and chain, all underneath a six part baritone 'wall of men' vocal delivery, Graveyard Train have created a unique sound and an equally unique way to deliver it. Exclusively singing songs and stories about death, despair, vampires, werewolves and anything macabre, Graveyard Train have drawn on the storytelling styles of old folk songs and mashed it with a punk/rockabilly/country frenetic foot stomping energy to create Horror Country. The Drink, The Devil & The Dance is Graveyard Train's 3rd LP, and easily their most sophisticated. Recorded straight to tape in a big old haunted hall in the tiny Victorian country town of Wandilligong, Graveyard Train have expanded their horror country horizons, bringing in mariachi horns, strings and other assorted guest instrumentalists to add to the chaos.
