Learn to Jive 50's style to the great music of that era. Beginners will get their first four lessons free with no obligations. Our young, vibrant dance instructor Aaron teaches beginners and intermediate classes. Aaron also offers private lessons for those wishing to fast track their learning experience or for the more advanced dancers who want to learn more challenging moves. Lesson Times; Beginners jive - 6.45pm to 7.30pm Learn a partner or line dance - 7.30pm to 7.45pm Intermediate jive - 7.45pm to 8.30pm The lessons are followed by a time of social dancing where you can practice the moves you've learnt or sit back with a drink and socialize. Included in the night are some line dances and partner dances. Our club is open to all ages, we have members from 24 to 70 years in age. Cost of full night - $10 Social dancing only $3 Please wear comfortable clothing and smoothe soled shoes. Jive or Rock and Roll as it is also called is a fun way to exercise and keep fit. Impress your friends at the next function where Rock and Roll music is played. Come along and join the friendly group at the Tassie Rockers Hobart Social club.Lenah Valley RSL is a comfortable and friendly venue offering good bar service.
