The Mudskippers Club is for children who enjoy being creative and want to learn more about the visual arts. Memberships are now open for 2012 with our first fantastic and fun art adventure kicking off on Saturday, 11 February. This will be a cartooning workshop with Gympie Times newspaper cartoonist, Jeff Douwes, who will share his secrets to creating amazing cartoons. Our young artists will also get to explore the exhibition, Big Eye: Aboriginal Animations, a touring exhibition from cyberTribe and the Queensland University of Technology. The Little Skippers' art adventure runs from 9.30am to 11.30am for children aged five to eight years. The Mudskippers Club for children aged nine to 14 years will be held from 1pm to 3pm.
