A cyberTribe and Queensland University of Technology Touring Exhibition Australian and Canadian Indigenous artists An exhibition of animation art; including stop-motion, hand-drawn, computer-generated, Machinima and other animation techniques. Big Eye showcases Aboriginal animations from Australia and Canada and presents a unique cross-cultural exchange of ideas and worlds views. This co-curated show, by Jenny Fraser - cyberTribe and Lubi Thomas - QUT, reveals the intersection of traditional Aboriginal culture within contemporary culture and highlights how old and new practices are fused in today’s society. Jenny Fraser describes the animations as building upon traditional morals and highlighting current issues important to her culture. Gallery Open Hours: 10am-4pm Monday-Saturday (excluding public holidays and exhibition installation days)
