This Australian Government program is for absolute beginners. You don’t even need to have a computer at home. Volunteer tutors will guide you through the online lessons developed by experts. Lessons cover writing a letter, sending an email, visiting websites and using a search engine (Google). You’ll also be able to practice alone on the KNC computers dedicated to BFS users, working at your own pace. This program is an ongoing one and not confined to the KNC course terms. When: Monday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Where: Scholer room on the ground floor at KNC. Bookings: Please contact the KNC office on 9922 4428 or Jean on 9922 5408. Bookings essential. Cost: Free. This is an Australian Government program for seniors.
