Early last year, two friends of the Sydney live scene, Emma and Sambo trekked over to Africa and spent considerable time as volunteers in an orphanage in a little community in Ghana run by the Love And Care Foundation. They’re back and to thank them for this sacrifice, for sharing their time and love with this community and sharing their stories with us we’re throwing a little shindig at the Annandale Sat 18 Feb. MARLOW: https://www.facebook.com/marlowtheband Since late 2010, MARLOW have been tucked away reinventing their sound. Apart from a quick Melbourne tour and a few pop-up shows around Sydney, MARLOW have spent 2011 feverishly brewing behind closed doors...until now. I Can Breathe is the debut single, and MARLOW are ready to stand tall and announce it with their return. A creative collision of individuals focused on thoughtfully written and technically engaging songs bound to produce a highly regarded live show. Drawing on their eclectic influences and experiences, Neotokyo are beginning to craft their own unique take on the hard rock genre with their first single 'Save Yourself' THE HUNGRY MILE: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Hungry-Mile/200884433283050 The Hungry Mile are 4 young men from Sydney who meet every Monday evening to write some music and share a laugh over some pizza and a beer. All having a varying range of influences they amalgamated them, creating uniquely original pieces of music. Time:6pm $5 from every ticket will go straight back to the orphanage.
