A Midsummer Night's Dream as you have never seen it before. This summer in the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne the Australian Shakespeare Company presents Glenn Elston’s brilliantly funny new adaptation 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream' Behind The Scenes. Taking the central comical characters (the Mechanicals) on a journey of discovery as they workshop which of Shakespeare's plays they should perform for the Duke at his wedding celebration. A hilarious concept production embracing all the best known scenes from Shakespeare's best known classic plays and features melodrama, music, puppetry, ballet, opera and rap!
