But before she disappears into the studio to record the follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut, BEAT AND HOLLER Mama Kin presents a special homecoming show at the Fly By Night. Following a year that included a North American tour with the John Butler Trio, a string of spectacular festival appearances (including Port Fairy Folk Festival, Rocky Mountains Folks Festival and Ottawa Bluesfest) and a European tour with The Cat Empire, Mama Kin is poised for the next phase. With some new songs to fling at her willing captives, it’s been a year since Mama Kin has played a hometown show. Joined by the Big Old Bears, who combine traditional folk with a contemporary feel, be sure to catch the Mama for a foot-stomping night.
