During the 1960s, the British made their mark on the world’s popular music market by taking on the United States with their new brand of chart topping rock and roll. While The Beatles and the Rolling Stones made an indelible mark on the new musical landscape, there were many other Brit Rock bands that also left a legacy of unforgettable and brilliant pop music. FOR YOUR LOVE presents the music of legendary 60s Brit bands that in their day, ruled the world, including: The Kinks, The Animals, The Troggs, The Zombies, Dave Clark Five, The Hollies, Spencer Davis Group, Manfred Mann,The Who, Hermans Hermits, The Yardbirds, and of course, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. Brother T (formerly of The Hiptones) has brought together musicians that intimately know the music of the 60s through their experiences with popular Australian bands like The Twilights, Stylus, Farenheit 451, Muskat, and The Moondogs. Says Brother T "I have always been interested in songs that are written really well - I've learnt so much from them, and there are so many great songs that were written in the 60s and still stand the test of time today. Lennon and McCartney had a lot of great company in the United Kingdom for writing timeless pop songs. And the fascinating thing is that so many British artists went on to blitz the US charts with their own take on American rock and roll!" "We're also using the show as an opportunity to tell people about the artists that made the songs famous. We're using StageDirector technology to coordinate a multi-media show that proved to be really popular the first time we did this show. So fans get to see the original songwriters and bands that made the songs famous as we perform the songs live on stage. Its pretty cosmic that some of the FOR YOUR LOVE band actually toured with the artists that we are paying tribute to, back in the 60s! FOR YOUR LOVE presents legendary hit songs, irresistible grooves, great harmonies and non-stop dancing. Get with the in crowd one night only.
