Karen Anderson and Ewan MackenzieA pair of Scottish surnames, some Taurean hedonism and twin musical spirits unite Karen Anderson and Ewan Mackenzie.Since they first met many years ago when a 17 year old Karen was busking in Brisbane city and Ewan was gigging solo, they have maintained a musical friendship that has spanned many explorations. Their musical landscape is a place where hearts are worn firmly on sleeves. They listen and follow each other on journeys through songs made with bluesy souly jazzy marinades, plus the odd garnish of jazz manouche, folky pop and French chanson. Eclectic and definitely edible, it’s the way they work off each other and understand where the other is going that makes watching their travels something special.
