Sydney’s rhythm driven, noisy guitar three piece, skinpin, hit the stage at the Sando in Newtown with Wollongong’s Hy-Test, the notorious Nunchukka Superfly and TTTDS (ex Wicked City) for a night of racket, disorder, and good ol’ fashioned punk rock. Formed out of the loveless and tiresome advertising and culling of musicians in the back of the free street press, skinpin has solidified into a noisy streamlined machine, built on the mutual hatred of passive music and Djs who do nothing but push buttons and prance about trying to look cool.
