Shortly after her last visit to Australia in 2005, the lauded London-based artist Angela de la Cruz suffered a brain haemorrhage. Since her recovery, she has returned to her studio, won the coveted Paul Hamlyn Award, and scored a Turner Prize nomination. She’s back in Melbourne in February with a bold new exhibition of her famous deconstructed canvasses at Anna Schwartz Gallery.
