Life is full of rhythms; once again Lightbulb Fyshwick is decamping to warmer climates for an extended period, and once again Team Legends are stockpiling the rock for the cooler months ahead – yes folks, it’s a farewell show, but this time we’ve managed to wedge in more rock per square inch than any farewell show previously known to man. Some of you may have witnessed the Legends with a five piece horn section, and some of you may have been lucky enough to hear the squalls of atonal feedback produced when Legends featured ten lead guitarists on stage simultaneously. This time we’re mashing up the two concepts – at the foundation is the twin turbo drum assault of Thomas the Wank Engine vs. Hertz Van Rental, flanked by honorary Legends Link Meanie and Phil Gionfriddo on supplementary strings, and with jazzy interjections by Legends’ horn section The Blow Outs, guest vocalists galore and the usual compliment of random percussionists.
