Jeff has just released his twenty-fifth album ‘Fragile Spaceman’ a collection praised by Bowie’s official website BowieNet. ”There truly are some beautiful moments on this album and Jeff is in extremely fine voice. I hear little hints, most likely unintentional, of Peter Gabriel, Elbow and Bowie….get yourself a copy” [BowieNet news Feb 2011] Jeff is bringing a few of his favourite musical comrades for this one-off performance at the Monkey, including Jak Housden [Whitlams/ guitar], keyboard wiz-kid Tim Jenkins, & drummer to the stars Tim Firth. Jak also played in Jeff’s ‘Ziggy’ show so expect a few Bowie faves plus songs from Duffo’s new album. As Duffo recently recorded a blues album with members from legendary rock band Deep Purple you can also expect a little of the blues.
