The new album saw the band stepping out of the "bedroom" and into the legendary Sing Sing studios for a two-week recording session, working with long-time collaborator and producer Steven Schram (Little Birdy, Little Red). ‘Great Escape’ showcases a burgeoning ‘Kings sound that will treat fans to more sublime musical journeys and intelligent, whimsical story telling but also some more driving moments that channel late 60’s/early 70’s California and early 90’s US indie pop.
