Four exceptional Australian acts, John Butler Trio, The Cat Empire, Blue King Brown and Mama Kin will perform in this special concert at Tony Ireland Stadium.
The John Butler Trio’s APRIL UPRISING album debuted at number one on the Australian national ARIA albums chart on April 5. It’s the band’s third consecutive album release to enter the charts at number one here in Australia and the first USA Billboard Top 100 entry for the band with a debut at number 36 on the week of release. APRIL UPRISING is also reporting success in New Zealand, France, Canada, the UK and Japan.
APRIL UPRISING has received the best reviews to date at a global level for the band. They’ve already completed a sell out tour through the UK and Europe headlining major theatres and have just commenced their most ambitious run of dates in the USA, including the prestigious Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and New York’s Central Park Summer Stage.
